The Reapers’ Kill ‘Em All is a fierce follow-up to their explosive debut, Rip It Up, and honestly, they’ve managed to up the ante in every way. Right from the start, this album grabs you by the throat with its unapologetic streetpunk energy, blending aggression with an unexpectedly catchy edge that’s hard to resist. It kicks off with a cool nod to Vigilante—a quote about taking justice into your own hands, which perfectly sets the tone for what’s coming: relentless, no-frills punk rock that’s as gritty as it is anthemic.
Though it’s only got seven tracks on the vinyl, each song packs a punch, and the CD version throws in a few bonus tracks to sweeten the deal. You’ve got fast-paced, fist-in-the-air tracks like “Tainted Streets” and “Kill ‘Em All” that keep the intensity high, while “Fortunate Son” gets a punk makeover that does the original justice in the best possible way. The band keeps things tight, blending classic Oi! elements with some garage-punk grit, but they also manage to throw in these surprisingly melodic moments that make you want to hit repeat.
What really makes Kill ‘Em All stand out is how well it balances raw power with a sense of fun and energy. There’s a reason people are starting to call these guys one of the best new streetpunk bands around—they’re not just smashing through walls, they’re doing it with style. If you liked Rip It Up, this album will knock you out. It’s short, it’s sharp, and it leaves you wanting more.
